Pc on a budget of around 800 pounds

So i'm building a gaming pc. Thats the parts i have picked so far:

Amd a10 7850k black edition cpu.

Thermaltake spinq vt cpu cooler

2x8gb hyper x savage ddr3 2133mhz ram

Asus a88x gamer motherboard

Msi radeon r9 380 4gb

Nzxt source 530 case

Kingston hyper x 120 gb ssd

As you can see some things are missing. Can you suggest a PSU? Keep in mind that later i will upgrade to second r9 380 and maybe 16 gb more rams. And i'm not sure if this cpu cooler suports fm2 socket?

Get rid of the A10 for starters, with a dedicated GPU you should get an i5 or Xeon. Here's a much better value build...

The thing is, the CPU is very bad as It's an X4 860K with good onboard graphics you don't need.

Forget about all of these components and build one with a good Intel CPU.

Fully black/white 800 GBP set with i5-4690k + R9 390 with a good CPU cooler and 250GB SSD. Plus a very very high quality power supply.

For the work and gaming you want to do, the Xeon will absolutely stomp all over any AMD chip.

It runs cooler, it is more efficient, it does more work per second, it has a newer chipset so the motherboard has newer features.

The real question is why would you buy an inferior product when you can spend your budget on components that will give you better performance out of the box and will last longer before you need to upgrade them?

The Xeon is perfect for multi-threaded tasks like Photoshop/GIMP and video editing plus it has better ipc (instructions per clock = how much "work" it does in a set time) than say, an FX 8350. Because it runs so cool I guarantee that you will not HAVE to use an aftermarket CPU cooler, though you can if you want.

The PSU in my build is great quality and the graphics card is great for 1080 and 1440p gaming.

So pls somebody can tell me why intel cpu is best and amd total crap the only thing i see better is that creepy price. its intel lovers forum or pc builders? Pls tell the true to me noob cuz i definetly dont know shit about computers.

You dont get me guys why i should spend 25% of my budget on dome fancy cpu and save from other parts if i wont probably even feel the diference i have used amd all my live and cant say nothing bad about it

You will feel a difference. That's the point. PC building is about balance. You want to game but also edit so the ideal situation is many powerful threads.

FX 8350 = 8 weaker threads

i5 = 4 strong threads

i7/Xeon = 8 strong threads

Get the FX 8350 if you want but it's not like you'll be able to get a GTX 980 with the saving of £30

For the normal user they will notice a difference, ofcourse there is a visible difference. If you don't notice stuttering etc. then an X4 860k or maybe FX-6300 might actually be a brilliant idea lol.

You play at 60 fps or that doesn't matter?

AMD chips need to be overclocked to compare to an Intel's performance. That costs more money, negating any savings you earned, by going with AMD. FX 8350 is over 3yrs old now. AMD has scrapped what it started, with bulldozer, and is starting over, with a totally new architecture, with Zen, because the current arch just did not live up to expectations. I also own an FX 8320 @ 4.0ghz, and an i5 2400 @ 3.5ghz. The FX is flat out slower, when using the same GPU.

The a10 is basically an x4 860k it is comparable to an Intel Pentium

This is much lower performance than the fx CPU's.

I'm curious, why do you think we would try and trick you into a cpu that's no good or a waste of money?

The 7850k is Steamroller based, which is just an evolution from Piledriver, which was an evolution from Bulldozer. The 7850k is better than the original FX chips, but not much of an improvement, over current FX. Their lack of L3 cache hurts performance, much like it did with the older Athlon II vs Phenom II. AMD, right now, is just not a good choice, for a gaming rig. I hope that changes with Zen. I want to see AMD doing well again, as the competition benefits us all.

Look, youre obviously new, please don't buy any of this stuff as you'd be wasting your money. Do more research into computers first and then you'll understand things way more.
Lets start with the basics. Intel > AMD
When gaming, you use a single thread and therefore as Intel has the much better single core performance you buy Intel. Yes it's more expensive but it's SO MUCH BETTER!!!

You're also looking at a r9 390, whilst it's a good card it is very power hungry and two of them will eat up around 500W +, I would recommend nvidia with Intel any day, any situation.

I seriously suggest buying a pre built/ boutique PC as you are really uneducated, not to be rude but I've read the thread and it's more than apparent. Try hazardouspcs.com for the UK

If you still want to build it yourself spend more time doing research and learn about what you're buying!!

A funny fact is that AMD is more for enthusiast builds, they can be good but they're likely to cost more. I was thinking of building one. AMD is not for budget, because you have to deal with thermal throttling and all that. Motherboard and heatsink has to be good with an FX CPU.
