PC or PS4?

Solution
As of now, I would most definitely say go for PC! Here's a cheap PC build that will blow the PS4 out of the waters.

I would definitely go for the PC. Yeah maybe you wont be able to play the "next-gen" games on ultra settings and maybe the console has that different feel but damn the things you can do with the pc. Even if you consider that you can upgrade it later and do so many things with it, that a console wont let you, it worth buying. If you can afford both though, buy them both 😛

At an earlier stage your PC will be slightly worse, in terms of gaming, than the PS4. That's for sure and I doubt someone will disagree. However, the only upgrade you can get for your PS4 will be scrapping it an getting a PS5 when it comes out in what, 5 years?

But the PC allows for a much higher range of things you can do, whereas the PS4 is there just for gaming. Down the road, in two years for example, if you feel you want to upgrade your PC, considering you already have the basics, you'll be able to upgrade individual components and your computer will overpower a PS4 easily without an overwhelming cost.

pc...period. There is no competition of a ps4 vs a pc. There is even a video showing the difference between the two. Obviously the pc won. As long as you have a pretty good video card, it will be better.
PCs also allows mods, ps4 does not. That can really extent your game playtime. Prices for games will also be much lower on a pc as well (ps4 makes (will make) their money on overpriced games).
pcs can be upgraded later, consoles cannot.

"If you can afford both though, buy them both"

That could be towards a sick gpu to make pc experience even better

Solution
There are nice systems but as you see the requirements of the new games that are going to be released, you wont get it runned on ultimate. For example: Watch Dogs / Call of Duty Ghosts / GTA 5

with the 7970 he would be alright maybe knocking down a setting or 2 but those games isnt like crysis 3 or anything
