Pc overclocking self

phenom 965,gigabyte ga-78lmt-s2pboard his 6870 keeps overclocking reference clock to 352 and htlink to 3521 multiplier 18 says 6.34 ghz under system and passmark burn in test bios shows 18x multiplier 2000 htlink 200 reference clock am i having some kind of hardware failure motherboard or processor games are real slow when this happens

Does this just randomly happen while running or does it boot these settings sometimes ?

You have tried re setting the BIOS already I assume ?

bios is set right reinstalled windows and everything

reset bios tried to use esay tune to set it same as bios nothing works

Uninstall easy-tune. I have heard of programs like that really goofing up systems before. Pull the CMOS battery for 1 hour and try booting again.

I am just trying to eliminate anything that could be modifying the clocks before attempting to help you diagnose your system.

It's a HARD BIOS re set as opposed to just restoring the default settings through the bios.

running fine right now hope it stays that way let it run for awhile and i will turn it off and see what it does i can usually just turn it off awhile and turn it back on and it is fine till i reset it then it ocs it self on windows start
