Hello! A few days ago I started having an issue. After launching any game the fps start falling all the way down to 15 or fewer, after a few seconds the sound is distorted too and the pc performance in general is getting worse.
I've checked the cpu temp at all times, it never went above 48 celcius, the gpu temp was also below 70 celcius.
My system is: Gigabyte z170-3 gaming, Intel i5 6600K and an nVidia 770gtx.
I can provide more info if needed, thanks for the help.

BIOS is updated and I have the new geforce drivers, did not do a thing. I also tried uninstalling all nvdia stuff and reinstalling older drivers, that didn't work either.

It's a 650W Corsair Gold series. And all voltages seem within specs (I was checking it with CPUid).
The problem came up a few days ago, suddenly, without changing any software-drivers.

Check out your disk Read and write utilizaition , my friend had somewhat of a similar problem and his drive used to be at 100% even though everything else was fine. we finally narrowed it down to an antivirus which was causing the issue.

The full version should provide better info, the one with actual data behind the "okay" status. You can use the free AIDA64 for example to see all the attributes.
