Hello,

So I have the following specs:
- I7-4770
- 32 GB RAM DDR3 Curcial
- GTX 970 4GB
- 600W PSU Unit
- OS is installed on EVO 256 SSD

And... my computer is killing its self on the most basic operations. I have tried to update drivers and searched for any malware or viruses but nothing. Its just sooooo slow. The temp is fine, and idle my CPU is on 2% and all the rest is very low like RAM usage. But my PC is again so slow.
For example right clicking to get the drop down takes about 15 seconds which sould not happen. Watching movies/tv starts to lag, and even the movie/tv shows sings of scattering on it its self.
its even worse in games, I cannot play a basic game in ULTRA LOW settings. All connectors are plugged in completely.

Does anyknow know what else might be wrong?

Thanks

I have Windows 10.

if you have a spare hard drive or can get one cheap i suggest trying a fresh install on a new hard drive or you could wipe the on you have and try that

James,

Before reinstalling Windows--the nuclear option--try the following:

1. Do a cleaning with Ccleaner.
2 Then use Ccleaner's Registry fix tool. Ccleaner will scan for registry problems, and it will ask you if you want to fix them. Click "Yes." But be sure to save your current Registry configuration when Ccleaner prompts you.
When finished, reboot.

If this does not work, then try a system restore. Restore the system to a date when the computer was not acting like this.

Hi mate,

This was the first thing I have tried, just re-installed windows 10 and having the same issues. NOW I get like 0.0000000 FPS on calculator.exe

I have a gigabyte motherboard, which is compatible with what I have. No issues like a month ago.
