Hey guys! I just got an Elgato for X-Mas and I was really looking forward to streaming that night. Unfortunately in the midst of setting up everything for me to stream my WiFi just disconnects randomly and it isn't picking up in my internet search bar but other WiFi's are which was really weird because they would be like 1 bar or barely any service but my home WiFi didn't get picked up or something. I have tried to reinstall my WiFi USB drivers I restarted my PC and tried a lot what the web told me but nothing seems to work. In the manage my WiFi networks my home WiFi shows up like it recognizes it if it got picked up from my PC but it just is not getting the signal which is very weird because it just happened so randomly out of the blue. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know!!! Thank you so much and happy holidays!

First guess is that your home router has picked a channel that your PC can't use. Manually set your 2.4Ghz WIFI to channel 1, 6, 11. Set your 5Ghz to something in the 30s. Set the channel width to 20Mhz on 2.4Ghz and 40Mhz on 5Ghz. Those are the most compatible settings.

How exactly do I change The channels and such. Updated: Tried to change the channels and it still did not work and my 5G wifi connects but has no internet service. Kind of ashamed about this I unfortunately think I need a new router...
