I recently upgraded my PC's motherboard and PSU following a PSU burnout incident. However, after the upgrade, my PC has been randomly freezing with artifacts on the screen. I observed "nvlddmkm cannot be found" errors in the Windows 11 event viewer. Despite trying several workarounds, the issue persists.

Here are the steps I've taken to address the problem:

  1. Upgraded Current Braker from 6A to 10A (I was suspected something has to do with current flow)
  2. Removed and reinstalled the Graphics Card.
  3. Disable XMP profile in BIOS
  4. Updated BIOS
  5. Uninstalled Nvidia drivers using DDU and then reinstalled Nvidia drivers.
  6. Formatted and reinstalled Windows 11.

The issue have been resolved by myself and thanks for the peeps who commented:

The reported error was resolved by replacing the RAM. For anyone experiencing random freezes accompanied by artifacts, and if the PC restarts properly through the power button, please be aware that these random freezes may be caused by faulty memory, not by a dying GPU.
