Lately my pc has been randomly restarting, ive got a new psu, a tier one psu to be specific, checked my ram, nothing wrong, not overheating even the slightest bit, no viruses, no nothing, no dump files when it started. I don't know what even to try now, When i get windows 10 free do you think installing it will fix it? i hope so.

Specs:

CPU - Amd fx 8320
GPU - AMD Radeon r9 290x
Heatsink - Dont know but it came with my cpu and does the job

Mobo - gigabyte ga-78lmt
PSU - EVGA Supernova b2
RAM - Ballistix

No, trust me its not, ive been monitor the thermal margin and under idle its at like 45 Celcius, If you dont know what thermal margin is its how much celcius the cpu has to shut off

Well, I used to have it playing games, but i havent had that yet, its normally when im web browsing. Ive ran memtest no defected memory but should i try changing ram slots from 1,3 to 2,4?

I may know the cause but im not sure, on the first 1-3 days this didnt happen, and a few days later i realized i didnt have the power leds plugged in, so i plugged those in, and i think thats when it started. Ill get back to you guys and see if this is a solution, cause basically everything else ive tried.

well i cant use the other ram slots, but thats not a problem. I have went to windows event viewer, just the normal kernel 41 protocol about how your pc shut down unexpecdatly. But I think the led was the problem, I've heard of it happening before just not common.
