PC randomly shuts down or restarts

I am going to buy a new graphics card but want to make sure the pc is fine first.
Sometimes when I am browsing the internet or playing a game my pc will randomly crash. Sometimes it will just crash and shut down like it has lost power, sometimes it will restart randomly and sometimes it will crash then get stuck on the press "this button" to enter bios screen (forgot which button) and stay on that screen no matter what I press. Does anyone know what's causing this and how I can fix it?
I am on windows 8.1, cpu is fx 8320 and gpu is r7 250.

First try Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool.

It could be your PSU, have you done any overclocking?
What is your PSU model?

First try Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool.

It could be your PSU, have you done any overclocking?
What is your PSU model?

Have ran the memory diagnostic tool, how do I know if there was anything wrong with it? Not sure what the psu is as I bought the pc from someone else, I can only see that it is corsair.

It should say like CS, CX, HM, etc.
