Hi,
I’ve been having some issues with my PC lately: it keeps randomly shutting down unexpectedly.
When it shuts down, it’s as if the PC has just lost power; there’s no “windows is shutting down”, or any kind of delay.
Where it started;
I had Google Play Music Manager installed, but ever since using it, I found the PC running very slow, and CAM showed the CPU heat was getting very hot (peaked at 80C, was usually in 60-75C range; recommended max temp of the CPU is 62C).
Note that it was only the CPU getting very hot; GPU & Mobo were well within acceptable levels.
I therefore uninstalled Music Manager a few weeks ago, and since PC hasn’t been very strained, and CPU heats are down to a more normal level (30-55C), though STILL the crashing persists.
So I’m just looking for what can I do from here, to try and identify the problem?
I have the dates & times of most the crashes, so if there’s some way I can see past history for how the computer was at that period, I could try and see what caused it?
I ran a Malwarebytes scan the other day, just for matter of principle, but as you may be able to guess, the computer powered out during...
Info on my PC;
- AMD FX6300 (6 core) based PC - running stock CPU fan
- Custom built
- approx 3.5 years old
Any help?
I can give more info on request
Thanks in advance
