Backstory:
Back in July, I had an issue where my PC gracefully shut down (went through windows shutdown screen). Following shutdown, it would not turn back on. Once I replaced the PSU (with the exact same PSU type) it was fine, though I didn't really do anything strenuous on it. I moved across the US, so in this time my PC was in the car. I did not remove the graphics card, etc. Once getting to my new location I plugged in my computer, and during FiveM/GTA-5 one night (after the first night playing it no problem), my PC would randomly reboot. When it reboots the monitors and system goes dark like someone pulled the power, then turn back on.
Now:
First attempt to fix, replaced:
PSU again to another CXM 750w. Yes, I know it's not the best rated out there, but it was good for me for over 4 years.
Random reboots persisted.
Second attempt to fix, replaced:
CPU, MOBO, RAM was replaced. Same issues occurred, even though now system was running a lot cooler.
Random reboots persisted.
Third attempt to fix replaced:
Replaced GPU.
I replaced my GPU on Monday last week. I had no issues until last night playing PUBG. This is where I rebooted again. Before replacing the GPU I was rebooting constantly in NoManSky, after replacing it, I played it for about 8 hours this week without rebooting once. I thought the issue was solved until I watched my computer turn off again last night.
This MOBO has LEDs on it, so last night when the system dropped and rebooted, the LEDs on the MOBO stayed on for the duration, I do not know if that is important to note.
By this point, I have put ~$1,500 into what I thought would be solutions. I just keep throwing money at it with no solution. I CANNOT imagine it is the HDD or SSD that is causing the issue, it makes no sense.
All week, my girlfriend had her PC set up and was only doing homework on it. Last night she was playing CSGO when mine rebooted. I am starting to think it could be an electrical issue in the house or we are drawing too much power... but I'm not entirely sure. I would hope that if we were drawing too much power, the circuit/breaker would go off, but I am not sure.
Please, enjoy this shitty picture from MSPaint. Here is how the room is set up. This is certainly a lot for one circuit if the two outlets AND the AC are on the same on. I would assume they are not, but I am going to play telephone today shutting fuses and taking guesses. The 3 lights are Hue lights.
I was thinking that maybe the issue is my PC reaches a point where it cannot draw enough power, so it just turns off. I immediately went back on it last night after the random reboot and stressed it with the OCCT PSU test. I was able to run it for over 5 minutes without my system going for a reboot, while she remained on CSGO though. This is the only thing that makes me think it is not an electrical issue because if I was pulling that much power, it should have gone off?
I have not reinstalled Windows 10, and would really like to not have to do that. If it is a driver issue, I would expect there to be minidumps somewhere, but of course, there are not (looked manually and with bluescreenviewer). I have since turned off automatically restarting from the settings, so I guess we will see how that goes.
I'm pretty much at wit's end here, I have put in $1500 in, and still, have no luck on a solution. So if there's any advice, help, debugging, things I can set up, etc please let me know. I would like to know if I've wasted this money soon, as I have a return window for the 2080 by next Monday from best-buy. (I also can return the CPU/MOBO/RAM by Friday, but I do not enjoy building computers and am getting very tired of having to open mine and adjust things so constantly this last month and a half).
Thank you in advance for any posts, or help.
