My PC reboots during power outages only when i'm playing games. It's connected to a 750VA UPS. I'f i'm just surfing the net, watching videos or anything else and a power outage occurs, it doesn't shut down and gives me time to save everything and turn it off manually until power comes back. But if i'm playing, say Far Cry 4 and a power outage occurs, it reboots and i get the Asus Power Surge protection message.
I checked PSU voltages with HWMonitor and they are normal on the 3.3V, 5V and 12V. Is it my UPS fault?
Am i exceeding the wattage output of my UPS so it can't keep up when power goes out? why doesn't it shut off when power is on?
According to the eXtreme power supply calculator, my system consumes 450W approximately when under load.
My system specs:
Cooler Master GX750 PSU
Mobo Asus P8Z77V-LX
Core i7 3770 @3.4 Ghz
RAM Corsair Vengeance 8Gb (2x4Gb) @1600Mhz
Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 280X Vapor-x with Tri-X
1Tb HDD Caviar Black
2Tb HDD Caviar Green
Thanks beforehand
