PC recovery issue!

When i try to boot up my pc it displays "The boot config data file doesnt contain valid info for an os" + "File:\Boot\BCD"+"Error code: 0x0000098". Eventhough im booting it from my installation media tool (usb drive). help!?

So USB is first in boot order? as that sounds like the hdd instead. What motherboard do you have?

my removable device (usb drive) is set to first priority and ive set the usbdrive as priority in hard disk drives. i have a M5A 78L-M LX3

did the steps and ended up with the same outcome

is it the USB you installed win 10 with? In other words, do you know if it works?

i can't find a lot on this so it can't be a hard problem to solve, you might be best asking on Asus forums.
