Hello everyone! First post here.
I am actually running into an issue where my PC restart after I power it ON. It happens after 2 seconds then everything runs just fine.
Some days ago I made some changes like:
  • add wi-fi PCI-Express to the MOBA
  • switch my Western Digital Blue 1TB with a 2TB one
  • installed Windows 10 from scratch for a fresh start.
I also noticed that this restart doesn't happen every time, just when I turn OFF the switch from my power strip or turn OFF the PSU behind pc. Is that some kind of secure reboot?
I also updated all BIOS drivers so maybe it's a new feature that I didn't have in the past.
Let me know if you know anything about it!
Cheers,

Tommaso

EDIT 1:
I just found that I've got an old BIOS version (like 10 updates), Should I update it?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need more information about your system. Please add the full specs to your build and include the make and model of your PSU and it's age, apart from it's wattage.

Where did you source the installer for Windows 10? Which BIOS version are you currently on?

  • I just updated to the latest BIOS version: 5603
  • My Windows 10 installer was made through the official Media Tool offered by Microsoft. I had an original license connected through my account.
  • PSU: be quiet! Straight Power 11 650 W (age of 1 year)
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • MOBA: ASUS X-470 PRO
  • RAM: 4x8 GB DDR4-3200
