Hey!

Title pretty much says everything. While playing demanding games like Witcher 3 my PC randomly restarts without giving any reason. My CPU temps are 60-65 °C when playing and GPU temps are 70-75 °C. I have both my GPU and CPU OCd.

Asus Strix Gtx 970 non OC edition @ 1404 core clock and @ 7200 memory clock. I haven't touched the voltages in MSI Afterburner to get this OC. I ran Furmark @2k 8x MSAA for 1 hour to make sure it's stable.

i5 3570k @ 4.4 GHz with a Corsair H100i. Idle temp: ~35 °C. I ran Prime95 for 1 hour to test it.

I did run both of them at the same time to see if it'd change everything. Nothing.

My PSU is a Corsair HX850 850W. It's around 2 years old.

My case is a Corsair Air 540 and it's stuffed with aftermarket Corsair Performance fans.

I have 16 Gb 1333 MHz PNY rams.

Help?

Solution
You need to run Prime95 for longer than 1 hour to determine stability. 8-24 hours is more like it. May as well include 10 IntelBurnTest runs at medium settings. Since your GPU is also OC'd, verify is stable first, then test GPU using Afterburner for several hours. Test RAM using MemTest86+ for 4-8 hours.

What PSU are you running?

Solution

Corsair HX 850W

I have done the tests and got no errors. Also, in event log I get Kernel Power 41 63. I'm getting a new PSU to test it today The replacing the MOBO. Also, everything is on stock now just to be sure.
