pc running hot? or maybe not?

I have running both speedfan and coretemp and I am getting different results
Speed fan says temp 0c
hd0 26c
hd1 23c
core 58c
ambient 0c

Coretemp says tjmax 105c
core 0 42c
core 1 41c

Bios internal 32c
remote 39c

new system
E8400
9800gtx
2gb corsair
intel dx38bt
Thermaltake CL-P0310 120mm CPU Cooling Fan
Sunbeam RHK-EX-BA Rheobus-Extreme Fan Controller Panel
Stock....no overclocking

any suggestions?

latenightrob make sure push pin are locked down correctly.also may chek the cpu heatsink and fan don't move very much.also coretemp look ok to me but the speedfan readings are a little to high for me.but like you say you don't know if they are correct.also may check air flow through the case you have.and I know this may sound crazy but did you apply thermal compound correctly..hope this helps you.

FYI, the Wolfdale's temp sensor is forked up. It's only accurate under load. My idle is 19'C 34'C in core temp. BIOS reads 17'C. Granted, I have TEC cooling.

I find RealTemp to be the most accurate for Wolfdale. Google it.
