Question Pc running low FPS

Hello, my pc has a ryzen 3700x, Aorus b450 PRO WIFI, 500 watt PSU, and a new rtx 3070 ti I just bought. It used to have a 2060 and just upgraded, but I’m getting the same if not lower FPS than my 2060. I was thinking it might be my PSU not having enough power but I’m not sure.

Your PSU is too weak, regardless of quality, for a 3070ti. You need to get a quality 650w, or higher unit. Did you run DDU, to remove drivers, then reinstall the latest, from Nvidia?

Make and model 500 Watt PSU? Age, condition (original, new, refurbished, used...?)

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

New RTX 3070: did you manually download and install the drivers via the manufacturer's website?

I ordered an 850 watt supply, I just didn’t know if that was the problem or if it was something else. Yes I reinstalled the nvidia drivers, but didn’t use DDU, I just used GeForce experience.

I have a thermaltake smart 500w 80+ white certified psu right now. I ordered a 850W Fully Modular 80Plus Gold Certified PSU (ARESGAME, AGK850)

Not sure I would trust that unit to be gold rated.

Id get a decent psu and then resume investigating. Once you have a new psu installed try running userbenchmark and share the public link to the results. I agree a better psu is desperately needed but I doubt it will fix a performance problem.
