Hello All,

My PC shutdown by itself while I was gaming. Then I restarted it immediately but there was spark and popped from GPU area with smell.

After that, I check the GPU cable and PSU cable. None of them had any issue.

So I restart again and it's working without any problem.

Should I worry or is there any other things I can do?

CPU: AMD 5800x3d
GPU: AMD 6750xt
MB: ASUS rog crosshair viii formula
PSU: CORSAIR rx850m

Average Temperature while Gaming: 90+ °C

Solution
but there was spark and popped from GPU area with smell.
This is what we call a catastrophic failure. Essentially the worst which can happen. Only actual catching fire is worse.

Average Temperature while Gaming: 90+ °C
CPU temp? GPU temp? In any event, way too high, especially for GPU.

Should I worry
Very much so, since depending what gave you your fireworks, you have to replace that component. Either it was GPU or MoBo. So, i suggest taking the whole PC apart and inspecting everything. Once you locate the burned area, replace that component.

Continuing on as nothing happened can, and most likely will, lead to component catching fire. Then, there is no saving the PC anymore, instead, you need to look how you...

It's GPU temp, and thanks a lot! I am going to send it back since it is still in warranty.
