PC shuts down while playing specific games

After playing Dauntless for a while, my PC turns off the display but lights and fans are still going - to turn it back on I have to hard reset my computer. I've installed a new power supply, two extra fans (four now in total) and a water cooling system for my cpu. The issue also has happened before while playing Slime Rancher, but doesn't happen at all when playing games like Overwatch or GTA V. While playing, I get max temps of around 60-70 degrees celcius. Not really sure what the next step is... feedback appreciated!

Specs:
cpu - Intel i5-7600K
gpu - AMD Radeon RX 470
psu - Corsair CX 650W
mobo - MSI B250M PRO-VDH
8GB DDR4 RAM

Makes more sense for the thread to be on the gaming boards or hardware ones, but that's just me quibbling....

Do you monitor your hardware while playing games?
Have you had a look in Event Viewer (assuming Windows) to see if there are any clues there?
Have you used a hardware monitor (eg. HWiNFO) to look at the voltages running? (Alternatively looked in BIOS for similar readings?)
