Hello,

I made a post about it a few months back, and don't take me wrong, it was very helpful being on here, however my PC started working, but with the problem. The more time it was on, the more it would stay on. If I turned it off, it would go on with this problem again. It's very hard to explain, but I recorded a video, if anyone willing to help has the time, I would appreciate it if you could watch it and maybe understand a little better what is going on. It's poor quality, however my speakers light up whenever the PC is on, so it should be clear.

Thanks in advance.

It's PSU, I had a Kentek cheap 450w PSU and after 8 1/2 months it gave out just like this, I replaced it with a EVGA 600w Bronze B1, and it worked like a champ. First try and see if all connectors inside are in correctly, take them out and put them back in. Clean out any dust you can find. Also make sure nothing is shorting out inside, I've had a situation where my PC kept turning off due to a striped PSU cable touching the motherboard, with my luck, no damage was done.

It's a Nox PSU, 600 W , fairly old, 'bout 7-8 years old.

with an old pc and mb start with cmos battery if it weak some mb may not post right. look on the mb for swolen or leaking caps. older mb if a cap goes bad you can get posts like yours. one thing to also check is make sure the cpu is still locked all the way down. life the cpu clip with the power off and push down lightly see if the cpu moves.
