pc starts automatically when pluged in

Hi guys,
My pc starts automatically when it is pluged in and shuts down after some time this happened several times and then it didn't start again when i press the power button it gives me nothing . now i turn on the power supply only and shut it down then connect it to my motherboard it starts automatically . what should i do to start it through the power button ?

The first part sounds like the computer is set to "wake on power" this would be a setting you can change in the BIOS/UFEI.

The shutting down could be in power options to go into standby/hibernation after X minutes (and some computers do not like going into/out of these modes) which is why you see a blank screen and no reaction to a keyboard/mouse/power button. I'd set it to always on and see if this fixes it.

Does the computer shutoff exactly in X amount of time if left idle or is it random?

It was working normally and i turned it off and then this problem happened without doing any thing or changing any settings
