PC startup noise

Hi

I recently bought a new desktop and it's been fine. But recently when I turn it on, every so often it'll sound like i'm rivving up a motorcycle... This doesn't happen everytime though. Could it be the hard drive? Or maybe a fan catching something if it isn't doing this every time

is this a pre built or did you build it yourself...if a pre built what type?..... have you checked the inside and try to pin point where the noise is coming from?.....(take the side panel off and then turn on the pc...if it doesn't happen, shut down and restart till it does.)

the sound may coming from a wire touching the fans or may be a faulty psu open your case and see from where the sound is coming the movable parts in your pc are the cpu fan the gpu fan the hdd and the case fans and the psu so it may be coming from any of these....... pls give your full specs and if possible try record the sound and give us the link...
