I have a store bought Alienware Aurora R6, and it's been doing me wonders. Sometime yesterday however, I ended up getting very bad performance issues. I found that going into the graphics settings and turning the graphics from the top setting to a lower setting (Normally medium or lowest) makes the game work as intended, so I know it isn't an internet problem. This problem came very out of the blue, as I was playing Ark: Survival Evolved on the highest graphical settings with no problem the day before I encounter this problem, as well as Elite Dangerous no more than 5 hours from encountering these problems.
I don't know specifically what specs I need to put, but here is a link that specifies most of it.
