hello

I got a new pc last month and sometimes when i start it up it will take a while longer to boot up, an orange ram light on mobo stays on for around 30 seconds and then it will proceed to boot up normally.
This happens once in like a week. Is this normal?

MBD: Asus Tuf Gaming B650 Plus WiFi
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: Asus ProArt 4070 Super
RAM: Kingston Fury DDR5 6000
PSU: Corsair 850w 80+ Gold
SSD: 2TB 980 Pro NVMe
CPU Cooler: Dark Rock Pro 5

I would see if updating the BIOS helps resolve the issue. To add, can you get into BIOS and see if AMD's E.X.P.O is enabled?

Sounds like the motherboard did not like the ram setting and was searching for settings that work.
Normally when a good setting was found, it would be saved in the bios.
Possibly your motherboard battery is faulty and the settings are reset after a power off.
Not a likely thing, the batteries last for a very long time.

Is your motherboard bios updated to the latest version?

hi, i resolved this issue. The 2x8 pin to 12VHPWR adapter that came with my gpu was faulthy i replaced it with one from corsair that directly goes from my psu to gpu and now it works perfectly fine!
