PC to TV Via HDMI

Hello all, i have a 32 inch tv over my dual-monitor setup (one with hdmi and the other with dvi both from my graphics card). I want to connect my tv with monitor with this pc as well so i can watch movies,anime or even play some games on command. (not intended to always be on). TV doesn't seem to recognise the connection. I tried plugging in my laptop with the same hdmi to test the port and it worked perfectly. So no damage on the cable or the port of the tv. Any ideas as to why i can't connect TV to my graphics card?

What graphics card do you have?

Just because the graphics card has 3-4 ports on it does not mean it can support outputing to 3 displays at the same time.

it's a gtx 960 :/.
I thought the same thing so i tried unplugging 1 monitor and leave the other one as long as the tv of course. It still didnt recognise signal.
