i was playing a game on my computer last night and right in the middle of the game my monitor went black and i couldn't hear my friend on skype. i thought at first maybe my computer was still on and the monitor turned off. i saw that the fans lights ect was still on so i tried to turn it off by holding down the power button. this didnt work so i unplugged it and left it for the night. this morning when i plugged it back in it worked fine and i left it on for a while (an hour or so) when i came back i saw the fans were on and lights but the keyboard and monitor wasnt on and when i moved the mouse to get it out of sleep mode it still wouldnt work so i unplugged again. i then plugged it back in and turned it on the fans and lights came on but i didnt hear the starting up beep so i am really stumped right now.

my specs are
CPU:fx 8350 black
GPU: r9 280x
RAM: 8gb
Hard drive: 1Tb and a 80gb with my windows on it
Power supply: 750 antec
Ask if i need to give more. 😀
Thanks for looking.

will do now 1 sec `and theres a problem because my mother board doesnt have any display ports

Ur gonna need a VGA or DVI cable for that

still broken

Im pretty sure its your gpu. Why? The same exact thing happened to me 2x now. I had 2 seperate gtx 650 Ti's fail on me. And here i am. Still using a 650Ti.

Hmmmm really big problem i took out the cpu power cable and it was so hard to get i when i did get it out there was a piece left in the slot and it looks like there is some burn marks like brown burn marks and now i dont know if the motherboard is broken 🙁

Oh god. Not the cpu power cable. Get a spare psu and power up the system. If nothing happens, then ur motherboard must be broken.
Hmmm.... Weird. Did you not notice any burning smell around your computer?

i dont have a spare psu but if i can get a hand on the cpu power cable ill try clean out the slot but i think that the mother board is a lost cause

I dont recommend using that psu again though. I suggest getting another psu if you will test if the motherboard is still good.
