PC turns off

PC turns off unexpectedly and reboots by its self. I am an intern for a company and i work as support for the employees as far as computers go. So there is a computer brand new and it keeps turning off without shutting down, just turns off.

specs
AMD A8-9600
asrock a320m-hdv
8gb ram ddr4 Crucial Balistix
corsair vs350
segate barracuda 1tb

The thing is that i heard about bad ram compatibility with certain boards for new amd cpus, but i am afraid to do bios update because if it turns off during bios update i am screwed.

First i would clear CMOS, put one stick of ram and try another powersupply (try another slots, and try to boot).
I suspect that PSU is bad.
Can you change ram speed in bios, because you didn't indicate which ram speed is running.

There is one stick of ram and it runs at 2666. Another employee has the exact same configuration and its works perfectly fine. I also checked the temps and they are really low like between 21-25 C so i don't think that's an issue

Did you try another powersupply and ram?
Rarely could be bad CPU, try to re mount CPU maybe bad contact?

I will try another psu and ram. I am just afraid to do a bios update and turns off during the update. It's just strange because this pc has been working fine the past month and this week turns off unexpectedly

Well if used to work, I would not expect a bios issue. Must be faulty power supply.
