Hi
Recently,I installed 3rd RAM stick on my PC and after that,i was unable to boot windows. When i remove 3rd stick,it boots normally.I tried flashing my BIOS but still same result. What can cause that?I am pretty much sure its failure on that 3rd extra stick but i ask here if its possible to be some other reason.Any advice is helpfull, thank you

Did the RAM stick work in your friend's computer? Download and install Memtest86 to a cd or USB flash drive and try running the test on the suspect stick alone. If you can't even get to the BIOS with only that stick installed, run Memtest86 with the stick installed in your friend's computer.
Hello, it should be fairly easy to figure out if it's your ram or a configuration problem.

If your new ram is the correct type you could replace one of the old sticks with the new stick to make sure it is functional. If it does boot, make sure it shows the correct amount of ram on the boot screen, bios or OS.

If the ram works correctly and is detected by the cpu it is most likely a configuration or conflict problem, which requires knowing the motherboard and ram models.

on my Bios i can go to System specs and see that my RAM is increased,it shows increased RAM so RAM module is recognized by motherboard obviously, but when it comes to boot windows, all i see is win10 logo, screen freezes and next PC restarts

Hi, You need to figure out if the new ram is bad, it does happen. Best thing to do is remove all ram and add only the new stick you bought. If computer boots to windows successfully then its not a bad stick and most likely a conflict between your old and new ram or a configuration issue and you can go from there.

What is your mother board model and what are the specifications of the old and new ram?

i have done exactly same thing,i installed only 1 RAM stick(the one i got from my friend) and PC was not able to even load BIOS so thats why I think its probably failure on that RAM module, does it have anything with RAM frequency or some other settings?
my motherboard is MSI P35 Neo 3 7395,my pc is quite old and i dont use him for anything serious 😀
i have Corsair CM2X2048-6500C5 DDR2 ram

As long as the motherboard is compatible with the type and frequency of the ram it should work, and it looks like that ram should work on that board at the rated speed of 1066mhz so I agree it sounds like a bad stick unfortunately.
