Hello Fellow Gamers

I'm a PC gamer not one of the master race yet don't know a awful lot, eventually I want to go into 4K gaming when the monitors get a little better.

I bought my rig back in May

Asus ROG Max VIII Ranger Z170
Intel i7 6700k @ 4.6hz
500GB SSD
3TB HDD
16GB DDR4 VengLPX RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SC+ GAMING ACX 2.0+

I have some money laying around, do you think it is worth selling my 980TI and going all out for the new TITAN X PASCAL.

Currently playing on the Acer Predator XB271HU Monitor at 165HZ.

I'm only asking as is it worth throwing the money at a TITAN X if I do have the money laying around and I want to prepare for 4K?

Appreciate any feedback.

Solution
Definitely hold off for the TI. I would even go further and say wait maybe till summer when the dust has settled and most of the AIB's have been released and you can check the reviews for the best pick per performance dollar.

Not sure how to reply to you guys as I can't see a reply button, but from what you guys are saying the 1080TI seems the best option, I believe it should be announced at CES soon, I will take your advice and wait for the TI, as mentioned above this is a luxury problem.
