Question pc upgrade help

Hello i am looking to make some upgrades to my old build, i am looking to buy upgrades here and there just need a nudge in the right direction. specs:

CPU: intel i5- 6500 Cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo
GPU: msi gtx 1050ti 4g
MOBO: msi b150m mortar LGA 1151 micro atx
Memory: hyperx fury 2x4gb DDR4 2133mhz
Storage: western digital 1tb (main drive), adat 120 gb ssd (boot & 1 game)
PSU: corsair cx450w 80 plsu bronze

My main priority is the cpu was looking to getting an i7 7700 as my current cpu is always at 100% usage while i play Rainbow 6 siege on low settings and also black desert online which cause the games to hiccup sometimes.Id like to try to avoid changing mobos but if the 7700 isn't too much of difference i am open to suggestions.

I will be upgrading my gpu around black friday or sooner to a 1070 maybe ti version not sure, also will be adding more ram.

Just be ware that a 7700 will be held back by the 1050ti in many applications. The current pairing you have seems quite good to me.
I'd make sure you haven't got any hungry background resource and that your temperatures are low.

would you happen to know if the 7700 will be enough "future proof". planning on just buying the card and cpu at the same time after i save the cash for it.
