Hello, this is my 1st time posting here so I hope im doing it the right way .
Anyway, I have a weird issue w my PC that Im not sure how to diagnose. I bought a new CPU and motherboard and installed them in my system just fine and everything worked properly. After a half a year of everything going smoothly my PC froze a couple of times and after restarting it the GPU wasnt recognized by the system anymore (when booting fans dont spin up at all). Now, after that happens I started diagnosing w my old cpu and mobo and to my surprise the GPU works(im typing this post with it working atm) but when i switch the CPUs back to the newer one the GPU doenst spin up during boot and i cant really figure out why other than CPU being faulty because this CPU doesnt have integrated graphics, but I believe the system boots up without the GPU just fine since I can change my keyboard backlight with the function keys. Do any of you know for certain if the CPU is faulty and how can I diagnose it if it doenst have an integrated GPU? thank you very much.
My specs (with the problematic CPU where GPU doesnt spin up):
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4500
Motherboard Model: ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0
Motherboard Chipset: AMD A320 (Promontory)
GPU: XFX RX 6600 XT Speedster
RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4-2133 / PC4-17000 DDR4 SDRAM UDIMM
PSU: Gigabyte p650b 650W
Storage: WD HDD 1TB, Kingston 120GB & 480GB
OS: WIndows 11 Pro (freshly installed)
Non-problematic CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G
