Hi guys!
I’m really struggling with my newly upgraded gaming PC and I was really hoping someone could help me find the problem. I have replaced the motherboard, GPU, CPU, RAM and power supply and have added a cpu cooler too. The problem is that when I install and plug in my 3080ti founders edition, the computer does not want to start at all and just flickers the RGB lights. But when I remove the graphics card and run it only on the integrated graphics, it works ok! After that, I swapped back and put my old graphics card back in and then it started and booted no problem. I then put my old motherboard and components just out on the box and put the 3080 and using the old 600w psu on there to see if it worked and it started fine! So now I know the graphics card is working fine. I’ve also swapped my PSU back to the old one (600w) to see if it was a PSU issue and it just does the same thing pretty much. Also, for some reason I now have to hold the power button for the computer to start which is odd because it never used to do that with the old components.
Anyone got any ideas from here? Thank you!
