Hi,
Recently purchased a new lower end pc as my old one finally gave up the ghost. It’s an ASUS VivoPC Desktop PC (Intel Core i5-7400/2TB HDD/8GB RAM/Intel HD Graphics 630/Windows 10).
Not a fan of onboard graphics, and though I’m really poor I picked up a gigabyte GeForce gt 1030 off amazon. It’s small enough to fit in my pci-e slot and doesn’t take external power. Which is good because I have the stock 300W power supply.

Anyway, when I plug it in, the light on my pc comes on, and my cpu fan spins just for a second... then nothing. No post or anything. When I take out the card and reboot the computer is fine. I tested the card in a friends pc, it’s fine. I enabled the pci-e in bios (it was set to auto before).. still nothing. Help please? This girl is stumped. I’m not that great with computers.
