Cenx :
Ive got an Dell Optiplex 620 and I changed my Intel Pentium D HT with an Intel Core 2 Duo, and my Pc won't boot, no BIOS would show just a black screen as well the power button stays orange and doesn't change after 5 minutes but when I change the processors back it works again and boots up normally. Please help.
I know that it is the correct size socket but I do not know anyother specs for the motherboard or the PSU

Core 2 Duo is not on the list - it is not compatible. Generic Intel rules do not apply to Dell - Dell modifies BIOS to limit endless CPU upgrades, so people would buy more PCs from Dell.
