Hi guys,
A noob nerd here, I built this PC 2 months ago, it was working fine till 2 days back I kept it on sleep and gone to market to buy stuff for breakfast then I came back and started it, but it's not booting up.
Things I tried:
-Default BIOS settings
-Reset CMOS
-Install Windows
-Install Windows after formatting the HDD

It happens just after I install the NVIDIA Drivers, otherwise the PC is working. The monitor enters power saving mode after motherboard splash screen and Windows 10 blue color loading logo.
I installed CPU-Z to see if the system is able to detect my GPU, every component is detected in CPU-Z. So there seems to be no hardware issue I guess.

Specs:
Monitor: Dell SE2216H 1080p Monitor
AB350 Gaming 3
GTX 1060 6GB
Ryzen 5 1600
1x8gb RAM 2133mhz

PS. Nothing is overclocked.
🙁 Pls fix

Solution
Ok guys, back with the solution.
My monitor has 1x VGA and 1x HDMI port
My graphics card has 1x HDMI, 1x DVI, 3x DisplayPorts

The monitor's HDMI port was giving me problems, it was fine till boot up but after installing NVIDIA drivers, for some weird reason it didn't support the resolution or colors, IDK TBH. So I got a VGA to HDMI adapter, plugged the HDMI side to my GPU and connected the VGA side from a VGA cable to my monitor's VGA port. And it worked perfectly.

So anyone having this problem, can try this fix. Thank you.
See if you can get into safe mode and delete the Nvidia drivers
boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
hit the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
Pc will restart and load safe mode

If you get to Safe mode, open device manager and uninstall the drivers, and then restart

Follow the link below and run ddu in safe mode again and make sure all Nvidia is off PC. Then instead of loading latest drivers from Nvidia, run windows update and allow Windows to install the drivers it has, they may be more stable than the current Nvidia offerings

Thank you for your reply on my post.
There are no drivers, as I install it fresh, it shows me no PCI drivers and in the display drivers it shows me something like "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter". As soon as I install my NVIDIA drivers, the monitor goes black (i.e. Power saving mode, the processing is still going on in the CPU, as I turned it off by ALT-F4 and Enter)

Just tried it, no luck 🙁((

try running system restore? there should be a date matching day you updated drivers, if you roll system back to then it might help?

boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose system restore

no joy either, ty for replying though 🙁

Yes, I tried updating display drivers through Windows 10's windows update feature. In middle of NVIDIA driver installation, again the same thing happened.
Yes, I have the latest BIOS that is F8

Also: I tried to connect my monitor to my laptop via HDMI to see if I get any output (Extend, Duplicate, etc). The monitor actually didn't give any output of my laptop's screen.

Conclusive story till now:

I borrowed a 1600x900 monitor (and also his connection cable i.e. a DVI to HDMI convertor) from my friend, his monitor only has two ports, 1x VGA and 1x DVI, so I pinned up the DVI cable to his monitor and the HDMI to my GPU, I was surprised as it worked like charm. So I concluded that my GPU is NOT faulty in anyway and the HDMI ports of my monitor can be the culprit to this case. Maybe damaged. IDK how though.
BUT yea, I'm getting the display on my friend's.

ALSO, I quote the last para of my previous reply, to get what I'm trying to say, "I tried to connect my monitor to my laptop via HDMI to see if I get any output (Extend, Duplicate, etc). The monitor actually didn't give any output of my laptop's screen." After this I connected MY monitor to my laptop via VGA cable, which worked perfectly.

Use DDU to uninstall your old drivers. Sometimes going through add/remove programs will leave bits behind that can cause issues. And if that doesn't do it when you install the new drivers, maybe go back and download a slightly older version.

Your HDMI on your GPU could be bad, but if you are having driver issues, that could kill the jack also.

Thanks for your reply Bo Lee, please read my previous reply/comment, 😀 you will understand what's going on, I guess my monitor's HDMI port is wrecked, as I tested my monitor by connecting it to my laptop via HDMI and VGA, in case of HDMI there was no output to the monitor, but in case of VGA, the monitor was able to give output of my laptop's screen, also to see if my HDMI cable is faulty or not, I got another one for a few bucks to test it, it didn't work either, so I guess the HDMI port on my monitor is faulty. Further because I tested my GPU's HDMI port by testing it on my friend's monitor, he had a DVI (plugged into monitor) to HDMI (plugged into my GPU) cable, and it worked, so my GPU isn't faulty either. 😀

You connected to both the desktop and the laptop via HDMI and it didn't work on either? Then yeah, that would point to a bad HDMI port on your monitor. When I said that before, I thought it only wasn't working on your desktop. If it is not working on the desktop nor the laptop, then it is likely a problem in the monitor itself.

Just to be sure, have you trued changing the source input on your monitor? Generally they should detect the proper signal coming to them, but stranger things have happened.

Have to go purchase an adapter or cable today. Will soon post a conclusion to this thread to end it.
