PC won't boot w/ 8GB RAM

I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

I have a G.Skill 8GB RAM Stick (Yes, just one) and I would like to install it in my PC. I remove my 4GB stick, put in the 8GB one, turn on my PC and... Nothing. The fans whirr, but it doesn't beep or show anything on the screen. I'm not sure what else to put here, but here are my specs. I will provide any more details if you need me to. Thank you in advance!

Have you tried to reset your BIOS?

the ram you listed is 1600 and your MOBO only supports up to 1333

The ram he has is 1333.

Even if it was 1600, it should run at 1333 anyway. Unless there is some other compatibility issue (weird timings etc).

Have you tried to reset your BIOS?

How would I do that? I don't exactly see a "Reset" button.

There should be a jump on the motherboard, or you take out the battery for 30 sec.

Make sure you disconnect the power cord first.

Took out the battery, put in the RAM stick, and it still doesn't boot. Put in my 4GB one after, and it sent me to the BIOS setup screen. Is there any way to set RAM Mhz/speed/whatever manually?
