I just got a new motherboard, processor, ram, and case. I pulled the power supply, GPU and HDD from old build where everything was perfectly functional. Upon putting the new build together the power button on the case does nothing until I turn the power supply off / on then press the power button again. What is causing this? I read it could be the power supply but it was working fine right up until I moved it into the new build. Is there are repercussions to booting up like this? Is it harmful to flip the PSU off then on every time I need to boot?
