PC won't wake up from sleep properly

Hello.

When I put my computer to sleep, it powers down as expected with the power LED blinking, indicating it's in sleep mode.

However when I press the power button to wake it up, it doesn't resume. It powers up and the fans are spinning, but there's no picture on the screen, no HDD activity, nothing. The only thing I can do is turn it off by long-pressing the power button.

My configuration:
MSI B350M Mortar
Ryzen 5 1600
ADATA XPG 8GB RAM
GTX 1060 3GB
Windows 10

Thanks

UPDATE: I tested also using live Ubuntu as OS and the same thing happens

Solution

Great! Glad you were able to fix that issue.
It has something to do with the sleep state on Windows 10 and the AMD Ryzen platform.
At least the ironing out the bugs.

Open Power Options, on the left click on Choose what the power button does.
Make sure When I press the power button is set to Shutdown.
Click the link Change settings that are currently unavailable, and uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended).
Click the Save changes button.
Go back to Power Options window.
Click the Change plan settings link on your selected power plan.
Click Change advance power settings
On the Power options window, scroll to Sleep and click the + to expand it.
Now click the + next to Allow hybrid sleep, click on Settings and switch it to Off
Click OKand Apply, then reboot.
Test sleep mode.

Thanks.

I've performed a BIOS update to see if it helps, and it indeed solved the problem. So it looks like the problem was caused by the BIOS.
