I just acquired an older PC100 AGP-Pro mainboard, chips date-coded early 1999, and need a pointer to where I can search for more info on it.

The 2-chip set is labelled PC100 AGP-Pro (H.T.82C598AT and H.T.82C586B) but otherwise there is nothing to tell me the board maker or type number, not even an FCC ID #; but only what is likely a serial number sticker M5Q93131507 on the side of one of the ISA connectors.

I have no manual, no drivers, no CD, no box, nothing but the board. But it does work (so far!).

All I want is to find that web site I ran into years ago where you could search for older mainboard info going back to the early 90's. Lost that URL a while back.

Not sure how you could have missed it, it's locked at the top of the 1st page. But here's a link to the FAQ. Towards the bottom is a link to the mobo/bios ID page.

It's always the one thing you never suspected.

If your chipset is labled PC100, it's most likely a PC-Chips board. The ones labled as such are also sold under the brand name Amptron.
