PCE Wifi Card not showing in device manager

Hi! I am just finished with my pc build, but when i booted it up and installed all drivers everything worked fine except the ASUS PCE ac-56 wifi card. I installed the drivers for it, but nothing happened. The card does not show up in Device manager and not in the network Cards section in Networking.

Yes, i have internet Access thru a Ethernet cable

What I meant was: are you getting wifi despite it not showing up as a connected device?

Fair enough,

There may be some motherboard drivers that you need to install. Open up device manager, look through system devices, and right click + update driver software on anything that says 'PCI'

I am running Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit on a Dell Inspirion 530 with a Pentium Dual Core E5400. I installed an Asus PCE-N15 wireless card and the driver, but the card does not appear in device manager. The icon in my notification area says "Disable Hardware and No Link". Any suggestions?
