I downloaded all of the drivers needed for windows 7 including intel management engine software. I have a PCI wireless adapter already installed hardware and software however there's a problem with the wireless adapter. It cannot pick up any signals but my laptop can.

I have a TL-WN851ND wireless network adapter.

Also there is a problem for the driver for PCI Simple Communications Controller. I searched up and found out when you install intel management engine it should also install the PCI driver but I'm not sure why its not yet installed as it keeps coming up with an error that it doesn't have a driver.

Is the PCI Simple Communications Controller connected to the problem as to why I can't get any signals from my desktop? If it is how can I solve this problem?

My Specs:
Processor: Intel i5-4690K
Motherboard: GA-Z97X-SLI
Wireless Adapter: TL-WN851ND

Solution
So that is Intel management engine interface. You can try this. You can uninstall the IME and that hotfix and give a restart. Install the hotfix. Restart. Then install the IME and it should be fine.

I've already installed the latest version of hotfix windows 7 64-bit.
