PCIe Ethernet Network Adapter Stopped Working After Restart

About 2 years ago I bought a PCIe Ethernet Network Adapter for my Desktop, as my motherboard's ethernet port was killed by lightening. It has worked no problem until I restarted just a few minutes ago. I have tried unplugging it, restarting my computer, changing ethernet ports on the modem, but its still saying no port is connected.

In Device Manager, are there any error indications for the adapter?

Not seeing any errors.

Have you tried an alternate ethernet cable?

Yeah I tried that too. I'm not even seeing the TP linksys model tg-3468 PCIe on device manager in network adapters and there is no other hardware area either.

Do you have the option to move the adapter to another slot on your motherboard? If so, try doing so to see if the system detects a "new" device.
