Would I be able to use a Kingston Technology SSD A1000 (SA1000M8/240G) 240 GB Solid State Drive, M.2 2280, PCIe NVMe with a Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 Motherboard?

Solution
I think you'd need a pci-ex x4 slot to use such an adapter and that motherboard only has pci-ex x1, not counting the videocard slot.

Stick to standard SATA SSDs, especially with a slower system like that there's no reason to spend money on more than that.

There is no m.2 port on that motherboard.
At best, you could use it in a PCIe adapter, and only as a secondary drive, not the boot drive.
Serious waste of money.
