PCSensor FS1-P FootPedal Software Not Working

Hey everyone,

I bought a simple 1 switch footpedal from amazon. Maker PCSensor Model: FS1-P.

I downloaded the software here: http://software.pcsensor.com/pc_en.html

The software above recognizes the footpedal is plugged in, but pressing the footpedal does not type a key or anything.

I'm on Windows 10.

Anyone had any luck with fixing these things?

Its a 1 key programmable peripheral but for the '1 key' to work you need to set it up in the software.
So what did you set it up to do?

I've tried the default 'b' key, f12, 'd' , most any key, but when I press the foot pedal, nothing happens.

I also tried buying a brand new one as well, that had the exact same issue out of the box, so I don't think it's a physical defect issue.

Do you have a pc running one of the supported OS's to try programming the pedal with that?

After the completion of set up, the switch can be used on the following operating systems:

Dos
Win 2000
Win XP
Win vista
Win 7
Win 8

Yeah i just checked on a Windows 8 computer and it worked there.
Tried plugging it into the Windows 10 computer and it didnt work again.
Any ideas to get it to work for Windows 10?
It just seems weird to me that it was working on a Windows 10 computer for a while, and then stopped all of a sudden.

Probably a win10 update killed the driver otherwise it should retain its programmed setting even after being unplugged.
