So, I am building a new mini-itx LGA 1150 budget gaming box (like a lot of other people) and I am stuck between the G3220, G3258, and G3440. I have a few questions about these chips.

1. Are all these chips the same? I assume they are. The G3258 is unlocked and the G3440 supports 1600 MHz RAM being the only differences I see aside from base clocks.

2. How high can I overclock the G3220? I have only overclocked one locked CPU before so I don't have much experience with it. What I was planning to do was just overclock this thing absurdly high and when it burns out in a year or something just replace it.

Get the G3258. It is a better chip for overclocking and a very good single core performance. I've seen one reach 4.7ghz but with a Corsair h100i. If you want to overclock with speeds up to 4.7ghz, you would need a good cpu cooler.
