Pg248q vs pg258q

I bought the Asus rog swift pg248q (180hz) and there is a problem that when i overclock it to 180hz i can see some strange lines so i am returning it.
But the question is should i replace it with another one or is it worth waiting for the new pg258q which is 240hz?

Up to you. If you have a system that can reliably do 240fps in the games you play, might as well. If not, you're just wasting money.

I play csgo most of the time and i get more than 300 fps.
Will the difference be noticable?
