AMD has been sponsoring Ferrari for years, and its just funny how those loud talkers who bashes Baron every time he makes a post regardless what Baron is posting...

don't you people ever grow up or get something better to do? who gives a freaking crap about what you think of Baron, where Jack is posting and wether you are going to stay at this forum or not. No body is stopping you leaving and I could not wait any longer for all of you Baron bashers to just PlSS OFF... Earth still spins without Jack and you lot boring idiots...

Seriously, if you put you baron basher's knowledge all together you wouldn't even make half of a Baron or what he does... he is a software engineer and contributing something to this world, what do you guys do for living? and dont say your a millionare without proof..
 
Actually I am also getting tired of people wordfucking and flaming Baron for every post he makes.
Baron did some retarded stuff, but this forum is not about that guy!
Nowadays more than half of threads derail into some "who can best flame baron" fest and it is really getting old.

I'm just sick of all this crap about Baron. I don't give a rat's butt about bashing him, but I will challenge him when he puts stuff out as fact.

Also, Baron should know that AMD is a sponsor, so to create a post title to make it seem as though they would release/announce an upcoming CPU is ridiculous.

Again, not mad at you or anyone, just getting tired of all the crap around here.

In defense of the thread, the linked site does clearly imply an appearance by Phenom. Now that the event has passed, the implication is clearly misleading. As several have pointed out, the only thing that made an appearance was the Phenom logo. More brilliant PR by Henri Richard no doubt. :roll:

If you squint your eyes and look really hard, you can just see the logo in the upper right quadrant of the drivers helmet. Well, they say size doesnt matter......
 
lmfao... good effort by AMD, their logo on the Ferrari's rear wing is small enough also, but it does not hides away from people's vision, but this one.... LOL LOL

you've got to stand at least 2 feet away to notice something is there :lol: :lol: :lol:

Baron is not a freaking psychic, he doesnt know what is going to happen at the race, all he was showing was his interests towards AMD and following them in fine details. there is nothing wrong with that, if u check this topic's title, in the end there is a question mark mean he is not sure that AMD meant... pipe down please, we could do with another a few months of you not posting

I would just like it if a thread would not end up being about Baron instead of the topic.

On topic: I am starting to find AMD pretty lame nowadays. And I am supposed to be an AMD fanboy.
This logopresentation thing is another meaningless PR thing that tells us exactly nothing about what to expect from AMD.
 
But it does tell something about AMD... even larger debt! 8O Formula 1 is a very expensive sponsoring deal i believe so even that little tiny sticker is bound to cost a bundle. 😀 And dudes.. the reply button is one of the most messed up features on this forum so relax 8)

I saw the Inq link with the pic ... the graphic detail looks ok from a distance.

That's all that happened. I think this is one case where they should launch desktop first. There are NO HT3 server chipsets so all Barcelonas will initially run on the older HT version.

There are plenty of HT3 mobos for AM2+ though, which would cover entry level servers and enthusiasts. Hey I'd take a 1.9GHz quad core if it was consistently 40% faster than K8 at 1.9GHz.

AMD did decide to go MCM with Montreal so maybe they'll realize that any Barcelona in volume is better than none.

Well, Montreal will be 8 cores at 45nm or two Shanghais on one chip. Intel is doing everything they can ( I think there's a question of legality) to cut the bottom out of the market as they can afford to lose money while AMD can't.

That's another reason why I don't buy Intel anymore. They have 75% of the market and that's still not enough. They even had the nerve to say there's still Sun if AMD falters.

I don't understand how ANYONE in a free market could stand to even say the word Intel much less buy from them.

But that's just me.
