You'd use Intellipoint 5.2 for the Starck MS Mouse.
However, Intellipoint isn't likely to fix your issues.
Does this issue persist on multiple computers? If so, it might be a
hardware issue.
To the original OP, if it is a hardware issue, you might want to call MSFT
Parts and Replacement at 1-800-360-7561
Make sure you have your mouse and proof of purchase on hand when you call.
