[SOLVED] Phone Won't Turn On / Only Notification Light Works

I own a xiaomi note 5 and lately it has some problems. About a week ago while using it, the screen turned dark blue and then the phone turned off. I charged it but it wouldn't turn on. After many tries it did turn on but the screen would glitch/change colours/etc, freeze and then turn off again (It was charged). Now it doesn't turn on at all and when I charge it or press the power button, only the notification light works. I also tried pressing the power button and the volume up simultaneously but nothing happened. Can I do something?

You might need to open it, disconnect the battery and leave disconnected for 5 minutes. Connected the battery back and and power it on.
