For the best part of 3 months I have tried over and over again to access my router using 192.168.1.1 (which yes, this is my default gateway...) I have a TP-Link W895-1ND router and it just will not let me get in. It either loads for ever up until I close the page or it will say "No data received" I've contacted my ISP which is "Karoo" (worst isp ever...) and they cannot help me. I can ping it just fine "packets sent = 4" "Packets received = 4" Packets lost = 0%"

When I open cmd I type in ipconfig/all and use my default gateway to type in the address bar. nothing happens.

Resetting it doesn't work, only sends it into an unstoppable reboot loop which doesn't stop until the router is rebooted at least 50 times. Purchasing a new router isn't really an option right now due to cost.

Its a long shot but through a computer in your network google "what's my IP address"

Go to any of the sites that come up and they will display your IP address (the one that the world sees, not 192.168.1.x).

Copy and paste that into your browsers address bar and then put ":8080" after it

Example "12.32.55.128:8080"

And click enter. If remote management is enabled then it will load your router interface.

If it does not, there really isn't much you can do.

You MIGHT be able to reflash it without access to the interface but that is so very unlikely

Have you ever been able to access the web interface? Was this provided by your ISP? If it was provided by your ISP and you have never been able to access it they may have locked you out of the interface. If it is not ISP provided getting them to troubleshoot it is usually futile, you will probably have to reach out to TP-link's support @ 1.866.225.8139, it not accepting a reset is not good (you are making sure to hold the reset button for 5-10 seconds right?)
